Due to global warming, water related disasters such as Katrina and many others are increasing worldwide - leaving a vast amount of damages. A major problem through these disasters is that a large percentage of people remain unidentified. Many of the bodies will arrive intact but in poor condition from exposure to heat, humidity and water - making visual identification essentially an impossibility. Forensic experts look for identifying marks, DNA or fingerprints - but the vast number of displaced people; flooding of dental and medical offices and inaccessibility of records, the contamination of potential DNA samples and the conditions of the bodies themselves make the search a challenge.

'Ctrl+ Z' is a post-disaster system made to identify damaged corpses by scanning and regenerating the montage of the corpse from the skull structure. The face is a visual identity of mankind, separating us from one another. Through identifying the most crucial factor, we will be able to shorten the steps of the identifying process - giving a name instead of a number for the body.
