Loop

Sustainable transportation system development for San Francisco.
A transportation system based on RFID network integrated vending bicycles using San Francisco’s diverse character with the state-of-the-art technology. The Loop shelters were designed to feature the ethnic character of each region of San Francisco. Even though the public transportation system is fully equiped, the tourist and resident floating population collapses - causing increase in the traffic problem. We targeted the tourists of San Francisco.

In co-operation with the CISCO(US) and MIT , we proposed a full system with high-end technology to function in the most effective way for a sustainable transportation system. The design concept of the ‘LOOP’ was to symbolize the sustainable system in terms of the ‘infinity’ symbol used in mathematics. The sharable content identifies the zone, band and bicycle system. It approaches diverse cultures and ethnity more easily in the universal symbol itself.
